Homework |
Students should read Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 20 minutes a night. Parent/Guardian sign the reading log daily and it is kept in their homework folder. Reading logs are due at the end of the month . Find a book your child is interested in at their level. A quick check is the five finger check. Open a book to a middle page and if they have fewer than five errors for the page the book is at their level.
In addition, they will have a few math problems that they will be given on Friday to turn in the following Friday. |

We use a color chart in our classroom. This is very common in most classrooms and it is user friendly for the students. Every student starts on green and move up for good behavior or down for inappropriate behavior. They are given the chance to move back up during the day.
*Colors will be written in their agendas every day. Please check them.
They will also earn “I got caught doing something good” tokens that they can use on Friday to buy prizes from the class store.
